Accepting shares your full address and agrees the price. Nothing is charged.
A quote arrives as a card in your conversation: the price, whether it is fixed or an estimate, what it includes, when they can do it and how long the quote stands.
Accepting it does two things and nothing else: it agrees the price between the two of you, and it gives that trader your full address so they can do the job. No money is taken and no order is created.
An estimate is the trader's best guess, not a fixed price. If you need a price that cannot move, ask for a fixed quote before they start.
A newer quote from the same trader replaces the earlier one. You can decline, or ask a question first. Declining is not rude and the trader expects it.
