What it is
Every seller has a Trade Rank from 1 to 50, shown as a badge on their shop and beside their name. It is worked out live from their record on Reloot and nothing else. There is no way to buy a level, and it is not affected by boosts, Pro or anything else a seller can pay for.
How it is earned
A completed sale is worth 100 points and a review from a buyer 40. A seller with five or more reviews averaging 4.5 stars or better gets a one-off 250 on top. The points needed for each level rise as you go, so the first few come quickly and the last ones take a real trading history. If reviews come down, so does the rank.
The bands
Levels 1 to 4 are a new seller, 5 to 9 rising, 10 to 19 trusted, 20 to 29 established, 30 to 39 veteran and 40 and above legend. Buyers see the band and the level; the seller sees their own progress bar and the full ladder on their Profile.
Trusted Trader
Trusted Trader is a separate badge for sellers with at least 25 sales, 10 reviews, a 4.7 rating and a verified identity. It is recalculated every time it is shown, so it is lost again if the rating falls. It is never granted by hand.
Reviews
Only a buyer who completed a purchase can leave a review, and only for that purchase. There are no reviews from friends, no imported ratings and no paid placements.
